Brian joined our accounting and auditing staff in 2005. He is responsible for serving a variety of clients with their financial reporting needs including the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and payroll processing.

Brian received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from Eastern Illinois University, with a major in Accounting and a minor in Economics. He passed the CPA exam and received his certificate in 2001.

Immediately following college, Brian gained six years of accounting and tax experience in public accounting. He assisted a variety of clients with their financial reporting needs including the preparation, review, and audit of financial statements, personal and business tax returns, client budgeting, forecasting, and system consultation.

Prior to joining the Hofner & Hofner, L.L.C. team, Brian was the Controller/Director of Office Operations for a closely-held distributor in Elk Grove Village. His responsibilities included preparation of financial statements, departmental budgets, forecasts, cash management, and supervision of all office departments.

Brian is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society. He served as Treasurer of the Bloomingdale Athletic Club, an association for little league football in the Bloomingdale/Roselle community.

Brian and his wife, Holli, live in Warrenville and have two children.
